You are a soul. You have a number. That is all we know about you.

We do not collect your name, photo, or any identifying details beyond what your OAuth provider shares to maintain your session. Your soul number is generated by us — it is not derived from your real identity and cannot be traced back to you.

You must be 18 or older to use this platform. If you are not, please leave.

We see what you write — signals, stories, replies. We see your souls list, your kept posts, and which posts you’ve noticed. We see which sessions you’ve attended and, if you’re a guide, your session history.

We do not see your email address. We do not see your OAuth tokens after your session is created. We do not know who you are offline.

We don’t sell your data. We don’t run advertising. We don’t share your writing with anyone — not partners, not researchers, not AI training pipelines without your explicit opt-in.

We don’t track you outside this platform. What happens in the room, stays in the room.

What you write here is yours. You can delete it at any time from within the platform. When you delete something, it is removed.

We will not edit your words. We reserve the right to remove content that targets, degrades, or threatens any person or group, content used to attempt to identify other souls, or content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.

You agree not to harass other souls or create multiple accounts. If you do these things, your access will be removed. There is no appeals process. This is a room for people who can behave.

You can dissolve your soul at any time from your preferences page. When you do, your posts, replies, souls list, session history, and any other data we hold will be removed permanently.

We cannot guarantee removal from third-party caches or screenshots taken by other souls before deletion.

Guides are souls on this platform who have chosen to make themselves available for paid one-on-one sessions. They are not therapists, counselors, or mental health professionals. They are experienced people who have done their own work.

Engether is not a mental health service or crisis line. If you are in crisis, please seek help from qualified professionals in your area.

Payments for sessions and gatherings are processed via Stripe. Engether takes 15% of all paid transactions. Guides and gathering hosts keep 85%.

We can’t promise this platform will be available forever. We can’t promise every soul you meet here will be honest. We can’t promise guides will meet your expectations.

We can promise we are building this honestly. We won’t make these terms worse without notice. Continued use after changes means you’ve accepted them.
